Prim.mr.sci.dr. Zlatan Hadžimurtezić is a distinguished specialist in pulmonology and pneumophthisiology with many years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with respiratory diseases.

He completed his medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, followed by specialist training in pneumophthisiology. Throughout his professional career, he worked within the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, where he gained extensive clinical experience in the management of complex pulmonary conditions, particularly parenchymal lung diseases, tuberculosis, and chronic respiratory disorders.

During his long-standing clinical practice, he has dedicated his work to modern approaches in pulmonary diagnostics and treatment, with a strong focus on individualized patient care, prevention of complications, and improvement of quality of life for patients suffering from respiratory illnesses. He has significant expertise in the management and follow-up of patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung diseases, sarcoidosis, and other chronic pulmonary conditions.

He holds the titles of Primarius and Master of Medical Sciences, and throughout his career has participated in numerous professional educations, congresses, and scientific projects in the fields of pulmonology and internal medicine. He is also the author and co-author of several professional and scientific publications related to respiratory medicine.
