Ultrasound diagnostics
Ultrasonic diagnostics, also known as sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, is an imaging method that uses sound waves to produce…

RTG (X-ray) diagnostics is one of the oldest and most commonly used diagnostic methods in medicine. It is a technique that uses electromagnetic radiation in the form of X-rays to obtain images of internal body structures. RTG diagnostics is non-invasive and quick, making it useful in diagnosing various diseases and conditions. In RTG diagnostics, the patient stands, lies, or sits in front of the X-ray machine, and the body is exposed to a small amount of ionizing radiation. X-rays pass through the body and create an image on a special film or digital sensor located on the other side of the patient. Images can show bones, internal organs, and soft tissues. RTG diagnostics is relatively inexpensive and quick and is available in almost all hospitals and medical institutions. However, exposure to ionizing radiation can be harmful, especially with frequent repetition of the procedure. Therefore, it is usually avoided in diagnosing pregnant women and children, and other, safer diagnostic methods are applied.
RTG of the upper arm is an X-ray imaging procedure used to assess the condition of the bones in the upper arm. This procedure is often used to diagnose injuries, such as fractures or trauma, or to determine the condition of the bones, such as arthritis or osteoporosis.
Before the procedure, the patient sits or stands, and the arm is held in a specific position to obtain a clear image of the upper arm. X-ray images are taken from different angles to obtain a complete view of the upper arm.
RTG diagnostics of the upper arm can detect several types of problems, including:
Results of upper arm RTG diagnostics are usually evaluated with the help of a radiologist or other diagnostic specialist. Results are usually available within a few hours or days after the procedure, depending on the urgency of the examination. Your doctor will inform you of the results and recommend further steps if necessary.

With the rapid advancement of technology, there are other more advanced diagnostic methods that are safer and provide better image quality than RTG diagnostics. However, RTG diagnostics remains one of the basic diagnostic methods used in many situations.
